K-12 Special Education Social Workers Needed - 2025/2026 SY

Location: Frederick, MD
Schedule: Full-time, in accordance with school calendar
Pay: Starting at $49 per hour

Blazer Jobs is partnering with a district in Frederick, Maryland to find a dedicated School Social Worker. In this role, you will provide direct and indirect services that promote students' social-emotional learning and academic success.

Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, participating in IEP/504 meetings, and providing family counseling and resource referrals.

Maryland Licensure Requirements:

• Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program

• LCSW-C or LMSW licensure through the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners

• School Social Work certification (preferred)

• District background screening required
