School Social Worker – Full-Time | Glendale Heights, IL | 2025–2026 School Year

A fantastic school district located in Glendale Heights, IL is seeking a full-time School Social Worker to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student social-emotional development

• Assist in implementing behavioral or educational plans as needed

• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insight into student performance, social-emotional needs, and family support

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work endorsement required

• Experience working in school settings or with children/youth in clinical or community settings preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL), crisis intervention, and family support services
