Hiring -School Social Worker (Short-Term Assignment) - Glendale Heights, IL

Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for a School Social Worker to join a dedicated school team in Glendale Heights, IL for a short-term, full-time assignment(10/20/25 - 1/16/2026). This role plays a vital part in supporting students' emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being during a critical part of the school year.

Position Requirements:

To be considered, applicants must meet the following:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Work Endorsement

• At least 1 year of experience in a school setting (preferred)

• Ability to pass a state and federal background check

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and interventions to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges

• Conduct assessments and collaborate with IEP/504 teams as needed

• Coordinate with families, teachers, and community resources to ensure student success

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

• Promote a positive, inclusive school climate and assist with crisis response when necessary
