Schedule: Full-Time | Mid-October through Mid-January (Winter Break Off)
Setting: Elementary (K–5) General Education/Resource
Caseload: Approximately 50 students
Assignment: Split between two buildings

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker for a full-time, short-term assignment in Lake Zurich, IL. This role supports elementary students in general education and resource settings and is ideal for someone who thrives in collaborative school environments.

Position Details:

• Provide direct social-emotional support services to K–5 students

• Work across two elementary buildings within the district

• Manage a caseload of approximately 50 students

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

• Support students’ IEP goals, conduct social work assessments, and participate in team meetings

• Address behavioral, emotional, and social needs impacting academic performance

Requirements:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement

• Previous experience in elementary or resource/general education settings preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills

• Ability to travel between school sites as required
