Mental Health Counselor / School Social Worker Opening in Lexington, MA for 25/26 School Year

Our partner school in Lexington, Massachusetts is looking to find a kind and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our Special Education team for the full school year!

Position Details:

• Full-time candidates: up to 40 hours per week 
• Full School Year
• Additional caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $30 - $45, depending on previous experience

Requirements: 

• School Counselor (usually holding a social worker or mental health counselor license and DESE certification)
• DESE license is REQUIRED in addition to professional license

General Responsibilities: 

• Assess the social and emotional needs of students and develop intervention strategies to address these needs.
• Provide direct support services through counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Serve as a liaison between the school and external agencies, facilitating access to community resources for students and families.
