This position offers you the privilege of serving K-5 students as a School Social Worker through November 4th, 2026, with the possibility to extend. Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Social Worker license (IL SSW) and PEL required
  • Previous experience in a school setting, working with elementary-aged children
  • Adaptable and compassionate, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for students

Responsibilities:

  • Support K-5th grade students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and resource referrals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and outside agencies to develop individualized support plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Be present onsite, full-time: 8AM3:35PM
