School Based Social Worker Needed for Upcoming School Year

Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified School Social Worker to join a dedicated educational team in Maywood, Illinois. This full-time opportunity is for the upcoming school year and focuses on providing direct and indirect support services to students and families.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling services to students and families.

• Support students’ academic and emotional development.

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide social-emotional input.

• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and outside agencies.

• Conduct risk assessments, behavior evaluations, and crisis intervention when necessary.

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.

• At least one year of school-based experience preferred.

• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation.
