School Social Worker (K12 Support) Full Time | Middletown, RI

Blazer Jobs is hiring a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join a vibrant educational community in Middletown, Rhode Island, just 30 miles southeast of Providence, one of New England’s most vibrant metro areas!

This full-time, on-site opportunity offers the chance to support K–12 students through proactive mental health, behavioral, and social-emotional services, helping them thrive academically and personally.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver direct social-emotional support to students across various grade levels

• Implement individualized strategies to support mental health, behavior, and attendance

• Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide case management for students with special needs

• Act as a liaison between school, home, and community resources

Must-Have Qualifications 

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Valid Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification in School Social Work

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred

• Prior experience working with students in a K–12 school setting is strongly preferred

• Fingerprint clearance and background check required
