Blazer Jobs is hiring a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join a vibrant educational community in Middletown, Rhode Island, just 30 miles southeast of Providence, one of New England’s most vibrant metro areas!
This full-time, on-site opportunity offers the chance to support K–12 students through proactive mental health, behavioral, and social-emotional services, helping them thrive academically and personally.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver direct social-emotional support to students across various grade levels
Implement individualized strategies to support mental health, behavior, and attendance
Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and provide case management for students with special needs
Act as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
Must-Have Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
Valid Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) certification in School Social Work
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred
Prior experience working with students in a K–12 school setting is strongly preferred
Fingerprint clearance and background check required
