Long-Term Middle School Social Worker Substitute near New Haven, CT (AugNov)

We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker for a long-term substitute position at a middle school in East Lyme, just 45 minutes from New Haven, for the start of the 2025–2026 school year. This role runs from August 20th through November 14th and supports students in grades 5–8 with both IEP and 504 plans.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about student support and ready to step into a collaborative school environment. You’ll work directly with students, staff, and families to help ensure a positive and productive start to the academic year.

Details:

• Position: Long-Term Substitute School Social Worker

• Location: East Lyme, CT (45 minute drive from New Haven, CT)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:15 PM

• Caseload: Grades 5–8; IEP and 504 students

• Start Date: August 20, 2025

• End Date: November 14, 2025

• Hourly Rate: TBD (discussed during interview)
