Compensation: $42–$47 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to join our team for the 2025–2026 academic year in New Orleans, LA. This role supports students across K–12 grade levels and plays a critical role in promoting student well-being, academic success, and social-emotional development through targeted support and intervention services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
• Assess student needs and develop intervention plans in collaboration with families and school staff
• Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP/504 plans as needed
• Advocate for students and help remove barriers to learning
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Louisiana licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Previous experience in a K–12 school setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and culturally responsive care
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and school staff

Contract Details:

• Full-time or part-time options available
• 2025–2026 school year
• Hourly pay: $42–$47 based on experience
