Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to support students, staff, and families in the Round Lake, Illinois area for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time, onsite role will run from August 18, 2025, through May 26, 2026, and will follow a 35-hour work week schedule.

As a vital member of the student services team, the School Social Worker will help address social, emotional, and behavioral needs that impact learning and school engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to students, including counseling and behavioral support

  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop intervention plans

  • Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with special education requirements

  • Connect students and families with community resources

  • Promote a positive and inclusive school climate

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)

  • Valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Social Work Endorsement

  • School-based experience preferred but not required
