Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree is required; candidates without a masters will not be considered.
• Valid LARA license or qualifying Michigan credential (see below).
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and familiarity with SOAP notes.
• Comfortable using Google and other electronic platforms for records and communication.
• Credentials accepted include:
  • Licensed or limited licensed masters level psychologist (with supervision as needed)
  • MDE credentialed masters level school psychologist
  • Licensed or limited licensed (with supervision) masters level social worker
  • Licensed marriage and family therapist (masters level)
  • Licensed or limited licensed professional counselor (masters level, with appropriate supervision)
  • Michigan School Counselor License, Teaching Certificate with NT endorsement, PSCC, or Temporary License (with progression requirements)
• Experience providing social-emotional support for adolescents in school settings is highly valued.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and support to general education high school students (individual and group).
• Collaborate with school staff to implement positive behavior interventions and other relevant programs.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all required electronic and SOAP note documentation.
• Participate in professional learning and contribute to positive school culture.
