Location: Onsite – Philadelphia, PA 19138
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: Through August 4, 2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday

• Hours:

• Through June 17, 2025: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• June 30 to August 4, 2025 (ESY): 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
  Note: School is closed from June 18 to June 27, and on July 4

Caseload:
Approximately 20 students in grades K–12

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a continuum of direct and indirect services, including individual, group, and classroom-based support

• Consult with parents and staff; offer case management services

• Assess risk of harm and facilitate emergency services when necessary

• Assist families in accessing community resources

• Coordinate with outside mental health providers

• Contribute to IEPs by writing present levels, setting goals, and tracking progress

• Submit all required clinical and educational documentation in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution

• Active Pennsylvania licensure required (Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, or Professional Counselor)

• PDE certification preferred (School Social Worker or School Counselor)

• Experience with students with autism and emotional disturbance preferred

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations preferred

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations (including child welfare and special education)

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete documentation efficiently

• Professional, clear communication with all stakeholders

• Must have current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances
