Now Hiring: Full-Time School Social Worker (K12): Philadelphia, PA

Location: Onsite, Philadelphia, PA 19138

End Date: August 4, 2025

Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Social Worker to support a K–12 caseload for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year, including Extended School Year (ESY) services. This is a fully onsite role based in Philadelphia, serving approximately 20 students with diverse needs in a highly supportive and collaborative environment.

Schedule:

• School Year (Now–June 17, 2025):
  Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

• Summer ESY (June 30–August 4, 2025):
  Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM

• School Closed:
  June 18–June 27 and July 4

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual, group, and classroom-based services

• Provide consultation to families and staff

• Conduct risk assessments and connect students to emergency or community-based supports

• Collaborate with external mental health providers and agencies

• Develop and contribute to IEPs (including present levels, goals, and progress reports)

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all clinical and educational documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited program

• Active Pennsylvania licensure (LSW, LCSW, or LPC)

• PDE certification as a School Social Worker or School Counselor preferred

• Experience working with students with autism and emotional disturbances preferred

• Familiarity with culturally responsive practices and diverse populations

• Strong knowledge of child welfare and special education regulations (federal, state, and local)

• Must have current clearances: Act 34, Act 151, and FBI Act 114
