Behavioral Interventions Role for Licensed Social Worker | Start August 2025 in Phoenix, AZ

Looking for a School Social Worker for the school year within the school district, acting as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist.

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Description:

• Full Time

• Onsite

• School-bell Schedule

• Start Date: August 4, 2025

• End date: May 20, 2026

• Caseload: High school  - 30 students total

• Conduct student observations and collect data for Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)

• Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Work closely with Special Education teachers, related service providers, and school teams

• Ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across educational environments

• Serve as a key behavioral support contact for school staff and administration

Credentials:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

• Full or temporary School Social Worker license through the state Department of Education

• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (valid and current)

• Prior experience working with students facing behavioral and emotional challenges

• Proven ability to conduct FBAs and lead the development of successful intervention plans
