School-Based Social Worker - Portland, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Social Worker (required)
• Previous experience working with elementary or preschool students is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and intervention to approximately 40 students with varied social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized plans
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation for students served
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions in accordance with school plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote a comprehensive approach to student development

This contract runs from August 24, 2026, through May 14, 2027, at 37.5 hours per week and requires onsite presence to best serve students and staff.
