Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work
• Current Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Proven experience working with K-12 students within a school environment
• Strong skills in clinical assessment and intervention strategies
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Committed to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support both general and special education student populations
• Serve as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring compliance and advocacy for student needs
• Provide direct social-emotional counseling and positive behavior intervention services
• Work closely with educators, administrators, and family members to foster student success
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual student goals
• Maintain thorough records and documentation for all provided services
• Facilitate communication between school and home to create a positive, supportive atmosphere for students
