Job Description:
The School Social Worker will be responsible for addressing behavioral, emotional, and social challenges that impact student learning. You will work closely with school staff, parents, and community agencies to develop and implement support plans for students in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments to identify social/emotional needs.

• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to create individualized support strategies.

• Monitor and document student progress.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.

• Facilitate referrals to community resources and mental health services.

Federal and Florida State Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Valid Florida Department of Health license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Registered Clinical Social Work Intern.

• Ability to pass a Level II background check.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
