School-Based Social Worker - Uniontown, Pennsylvania

Key qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work or related field required
• Active PA State Social Work License
• PDE Educational Specialist certification preferred (candidates without this may still be submittedan emergency certificate can be requested)
• Previous experience in school settings or with emotional/behavioral support programs is highly valued
• Compassionate communicator able to build rapport with students, families, and educational teams

Role responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students within assigned programs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and outside agencies to meet student needs
• Participate in IEP/504 planning and contribute to team meetings
• Support students and families with crisis intervention, community resources, and advocacy
• Document services and interventions in compliance with school and state guidelines

Assignment details:

• Position 1: Emotional support and partial hospitalization programs, beginning as soon as possible through early June 2027 (subject to change)
• Position 2: Long-term substitute, October 2026 through late January 2027 (exact dates to be determined)
• Both roles are full-time (35 hours/week) and fully onsite
