Special Education Teacher – Fredericksburg, VA | Full-Time | 2025–2026

Position Overview:

• Location: Fredericksburg, VA

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Contract Dates: August 2025 – June 2026

• Setting: Onsite, public school setting

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs 

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities

• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families

• Maintain compliance with IDEA and state education regulations

• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and data collection

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid Virginia Special Education teaching license (or ability to obtain by start date)

• Experience working with K–12 students in special education settings preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
