Special Education Teacher in Andover, MN

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education license in EBD, ASD, or ABS (Out of Field Licensure Placement support available)
• Proven experience working with at-risk youth in an educational setting

• Deep understanding of behavior intervention strategies and support plans
• Passion and commitment to fostering student growth and success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for 9th12th grade students
• Develop behavior support plans and monitor progress
• Collaborate with general education staff, counselors, and families to deliver comprehensive support

• Maintain detailed records, participate in IEP meetings, and comply with all state and federal requirements
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education
