Special Education Teacher - Andover, MN

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners as a Developmental Cognitive Disabilities Teacher working with K-2 students. This full-time, contract opportunity begins at the end of February and runs through early June 2027, offering you the chance to have a lasting impact on the students you serve. You'll work Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, in a supportive school environment known for its dedication to exceptional education.

Your primary focus will be a caseload of approximately 10 students, each with unique and diverse developmental needs. Your skills in special education will help create an engaging and inclusive classroom at the elementary level.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience or passion for working with students with developmental cognitive disabilities
• Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and data-driven instruction
• Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate with staff, families, and specialists
• Creative approach to making learning accessible and enjoyable for early elementary students
• Commitment to promoting a supportive, positive classroom climate
