Special Education Teacher - Andover, Minnesota

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teacher license, Tier 3 or Tier 4 (required)
• Demonstrated experience or training working with elementary-aged students with autism and other developmental needs
• Strong understanding of differentiated instruction, IEP development, and data-driven progress monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
• A compassionate and flexible mindset to adapt to changing student needs and classroom dynamics

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and adapt specialized instruction for students in the Ready, Set, Launch program
• Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff to ensure holistic support for all learners
• Develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in student progress meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that values and nurtures the abilities of each student
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates, resources, and support as needed
