Special Education Teacher – Full-Time
Location: Auburn, WA
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week  
Setting: Onsite
Hourly Rate: $35+ per hour

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position during the upcoming school year in the Auburn, Washington area. Details: 

• Location: Auburn, WA
• Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: K-12 caseload, conducting testing and evaluations. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.

Applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with appropriate Special Education Endorsement
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and meet district onboarding requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student progress
• Deliver differentiated instruction and classroom modifications as outlined in students' IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all IDEA and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and ongoing professional development
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
