2025-2026 Middle School Special Education Teachers

BlazerJobs is partnering with a dedicated school district in Barre, Vermont to hire multiple Middle School Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 academic year. We’re seeking passionate educators who are committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Position Overview:

• Full-time positions available

• Serve middle school students with IEPs across a range of disabilities

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Provide direct instruction, accommodations, and modifications

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff

• Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Valid Vermont Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with middle school students preferred

• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills

• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
