Special Education Teacher in Bedford, NH

You'll work full-time during regular school hours, Monday through Friday, with a manageable caseload of only three students this yearallowing you to provide focused, individualized support and truly see your efforts make a difference.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification (or eligibility) for grades 56.
• Experience or passion for working with students who have intensive needs or require life skills instruction.
• Previous classroom or case management background in special education is highly valued.
• Skilled at developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Collaborative and communicative approach with students, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as both instructor and case manager for the designated life skills/intensive needs special education program.
• Design and adapt curriculum to fit individual student needs, maintaining a nurturing and structured learning environment.
• Conduct regular assessments and use data-driven approaches to track progress.
• Facilitate and lead IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and strong advocacy for student services.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals to support inclusive practices.
