Position Details

• Location: Bensenville, IL?60106 (school-based | onsite only)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5?hrs/week

• Contract Dates: August 18, 2025 – November 7, 2025 

• Setting: Elementary Resource Room / Co-teaching
   

Required Educator Credential

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS?1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement – required to support students with disabilities 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals, adapting the general education curriculum for diverse learners

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; attend meetings and collaborate with IEP teams and familiesCo-teach and consult with general educators to promote inclusive practices 

• Track and analyze student progress using data-driven strategies and electronic IEP systems 

• Complete required assessments, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations 

What You Bring

• Illinois PEL with LBS?1 endorsement (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

• Experience with elementary-aged students and diverse learning needs

• Strong skills in differentiated instruction, behavior support, and IEP implementation
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
