Job Requirements

• Valid Alabama teaching certification with Special Education endorsement

• Must meet state and federal qualifications for working with students with disabilities

• Previous school-based experience preferred

Job Duties

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs

• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families

• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual student goals

• Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress

• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and related service providers
