Job Requirements:

• Active Alabama teaching certification in Special Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Must meet state and district background clearance requirements

• Experience with high school students and resource-level support preferred

Job Duties:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction in a high school resource setting

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with a range of learning needs

• Track academic progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed

• Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive practices

• Communicate with families and participate in IEP meetings and staff planning sessions
