We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for an elementary autism/life skills program (grades K–5) in Blue Springs, Missouri. This contract role is ideal for someone experienced in working with self-contained classrooms or life skills programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education

• Valid Missouri teaching license with Special Education endorsement

• Experience in autism support or life skills settings is strongly preferred

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with significant needs

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Work closely with paraprofessionals and related service providers
