Multiple positions are available for experienced Special Education Teachers interested in working with either middle school or elementary students. Current openings include:

• Middle School Special Education Teacher supporting students with emotional disabilities.
• Middle School Special Education Teacher focusing on students with functional/life skills needs.
• Elementary Special Education Teacher for students with emotional disabilities.

All roles are fully onsite at a single, welcoming location with a consistent full-time schedule.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas Special Education Teaching Certification (KS SPED Cert) required
• Experience working with students with emotional disabilities and functional/life skills needs strongly preferred
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators, support staff, and families
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
• Adapt instructional resources and strategies to maximize student learning
• Track student progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster positive relationships and advocate for each students growth and development
• Participate actively in school meetings, professional development, and parent communications
