Qualifications

• Must meet all local and state Special Education Teacher certification and licensing requirements

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field required

• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred

• Strong skills in IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavior management

• Effective collaboration and communication with students, families, and staff

Typical Job Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs

• Provide specialized instruction in academic, social, and behavioral areas

• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learners

• Use data to evaluate student progress and inform instruction

• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers

• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and support strategies

• Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal special education regulations

Compensation & Benefits

• Weekly direct deposit, pay starting at $43-$53 per hour.
