Special Education Teacher - Broomfield, CO

This contract opportunity is based onsite at a welcoming school near Broomfield, CO, and offers a fulfilling schedule running from late October through the beginning of June.

What you bring:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education (SPED) licensure.
• Experience working with students with Significant Support Needs (SSN) or comparable populations.
• Deep understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff.
• Passion for cultivating a supportive, adaptive, and effective classroom atmosphere.
• Ability to commit to an onsite role during the assignment period.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute individualized lesson plans based on students IEP goals.
• Deliver instruction and support, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
• Foster a safe and engaging learning climate that cultivates self-confidence and skills.
• Regularly assess student progress and update IEPs in partnership with related service providers.
• Communicate clearly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education laws and regulations.
