Multiple openings are available for highly qualified educators specializing in developmental cognitive disabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (Tier 3 or Tier 4)
  • Prior classroom experience working with resource, RISE, or comparable special programs
  • Familiarity supporting diverse learners at all age levels, including middle school
  • Strong collaboration skills to partner with colleagues, support staff, and families
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to be fully on-site (remote options are not available for these positions)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Guide individualized instruction and support for students with unique learning needs
  • Develop and implement effective IEPs in consultation with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to foster both academic and personal growth
  • Maintain accurate records, progress data, and required documentation per district and state guidelines
  • Participate actively in school events, professional development, and team meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
