Special Education Teacher in Charlestown, NH

In this engaging contract opportunity, you will serve as a traveling special education teacher for the upcoming academic year. From September 2026 through June 2027, your expertise will help empower learners in traditional public, private, and public charter schoolscreating inclusive environments where every child can thrive.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Experience working with students with a variety of learning differences
• Strong collaboration skills for partnering with general education staff and families
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for travel and working with diverse school communities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and behavioral support in multiple school settings
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs
• Track student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to eligibility meetings
• Work with school teams to promote inclusion and foster student independence
• Provide consultation and resources to classroom staff and families
• Travel to various public, private, and charter schools in the area to serve assigned caseload
