As a Special Education Teacher, you will play an essential role in developing individualized education plans and collaborating closely with families and school staff to ensure student success. This position offers the chance to work a standard school-week schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid South Carolina state certification in Special Education is required.
• Experience working in a self-contained classroom, particularly at the middle school level, strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), assessment, and progress monitoring for special needs students.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons and materials to meet the diverse needs of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction and interventions to middle school students in a self-contained special education setting.
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs; monitor student progress closely.
