Two full-time contract positions are available for passionate educators specializing in special education at the elementary level (K-2). This rewarding opportunity, located near Chester, PA, calls for individuals ready to make an impact in an onsite school setting, working 35 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The positions begin as soon as possible and run through June 10, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in special education and a strong grasp of relevant subject matter
• Certified or licensed to teach special education in Pennsylvania; bachelors degree required for those seeking emergency teaching permits
• Proven school-based experience and familiarity with urban educational settings
• Reliable transportation to and from the onsite location; punctuality is essential as schedules cannot be accommodated
• Mastery in lesson planning aligned to state and district standards, incorporating formative assessment and instructional differentiation
• Exceptional classroom and behavioral management skills
• Capable of building relationships with students, staff, and families in an urban district context
• Comfort with district and site norms, policies, and culture
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required PA clearances
