Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Illinois.
• Experience working with students in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle School settings.
• Ability to teach and modify instruction for K-8th grade learners.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Strong collaboration skills for working with other educators and support staff.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction in resource and/or self-contained Special Education classrooms.
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of educational plans.
