Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Nebraska state-specific requirements to be considered, which may include:
Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement
Required degree in Special Education or related field
Any additional certifications mandated by the Nebraska Department of Education
Typical Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs based on student needs
Provide direct instruction and intervention in individual and group settings
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents
Track student progress and maintain compliance with state and district documentation standards
Participate in IEP meetings and school staff meetings as required
