Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Full Time – Columbus, NE

Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join a committed school district in Columbus, NE. This is a full-time, school-based contract role for the current school year.

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following state requirements:

  • Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field

  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing effective IEPs

  • Providing academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities

  • Collaborating with school staff and families to monitor student progress

  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations

  • Documenting student performance and maintaining accurate records
