Position Details:

• Location: Dearborn Heights, MI

• Start Date: August 2025

• End Date: June 2026

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Caseload: High school students requiring resource-level special education support

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver individualized instruction in alignment with IEP goals

• Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families

• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed

• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field

• Active Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Special Education endorsement (e.g., LD, EI, CI, or similar)

• Prior experience in a resource room or high school setting preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• A heart for student success and a mind for innovative solutions
