Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Prior experience with life skills instruction strongly preferred
• Ability to manage and adapt to a small, diverse caseload (elementary or high school)
• Skilled at creating individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum
• Positive, patient, and collaborative approach with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to cover extended assignments as needed

Position Details:

• Two full-time positions; immediate start
• Hours: 7:15 AM 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Elementary Assignment: K-2nd grade, 4 students, ongoing until hire
• High School Assignment: Life Skills, 5 students; starts in November, could extend through end of school year
• Candidates may be considered for both assignments for seamless coverage

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for students with varying abilities
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals
