Looking for Special Education Teachers in Denver, CO

Position Type: Full-Time | On-Site

We are actively seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education (SPED) Teacher to support a K–12 caseload in a school setting for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year in  Denver, CO. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student-specific goals and assessments

• Provide specialized instruction and accommodations tailored to meet individual learning styles

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success

• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals

• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team planning

• Ensure compliance with federal and state special education regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field

• Active Colorado Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with students with disabilities (mild to moderate and/or moderate to severe) preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
