Key Qualifications:

• Valid Louisiana Educator Certificate required
• Special Education Educator Certificate strongly preferred; may consider those with Elementary 1-5 Certificate
• Demonstrated experience in special education or inclusive classroom environments
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt lessons for varied learning needs
• Passionate about individualized education and committed to fostering student growth
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a self-contained special education classroom

• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages independence and confidence
