In this role, you will work with middle schoolers (6th8th grade) in a classroom designed for students with Significant Support Needs. The manageable caseload of just five students allows for personalized and impactful instruction.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Special Education Teacher license (must submit copy with application)
  • Experience with middle school-aged students strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to a collaborative, inclusive educational environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored instruction and support in a Significant Support Needs classroom
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, families, and school staff
  • Foster a positive, nurturing learning atmosphere
  • Monday, Thursday, Friday schedule: 8:40am-3:50pm, Wednesday: 9:40am-3:50pm
