Multiple contract Special Education teaching positions are open for the current academic year through June 2027, with both full-time and part-time roles available. These openings provide a rich opportunity to work with dedicated support teams, including paraprofessionals and behavioral aides, while managing caseloads that allow for individualized attention.

Available positions include full-time specialists at two welcoming schoolseach with around 20 students per caseloadpart-time options, and a unique early childhood role that incorporates home visits to help younger learners and their families thrive.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Possession of a valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, compassionate, and positive learning environment
• Strong classroom and case management skills for grades ranging from early childhood through middle school
• Flexibility to collaborate with multiple educators, paraprofessionals, and behavioral aides
• Willingness, for early childhood applicants, to conduct supportive and informative home visits
• Experience with diverse learners and outstanding communication skills especially valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs that support individual student growth and success
• Create a welcoming, inclusive setting for students with various needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to tailor instruction
• Communicate regularly with families and the educational team
• For early education, deliver services in both classroom and home-based settings
