Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Full-Time, On-Site
We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs. This role is on-site and focuses on helping students with academic delays, behavioral challenges, and autism spectrum disorders (verbal and non-verbal).
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs to address students’ unique learning needs.
- Provide structured instruction in academic, social, and life skills development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals.
- Utilize behavioral interventions and support strategies to help students succeed.
- Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.
Qualifications:
- MA Special Education Certification (Required)
- Experience with students with autism, behavioral challenges, or life skills programs is a plus.
- Strong ability to modify curriculum and adapt teaching methods.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
