Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education teaching license/certification with all necessary endorsements
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Proficiency in both inclusion and pull-out service models
• Skilled in using data to inform instruction and monitor progress
• Collaborative approach, comfortable working with general education teachers and families
• Strong commitment to fostering an accessible and welcoming educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage an elementary caseload, delivering exceptional instruction tailored to students needs
• Develop, implement, and regularly update IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
• Maintain thorough progress records and provide data-driven reports
• Deliver instruction in a variety of settings, including inclusive and pull-out environments
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support for each learner
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and ongoing professional development

This position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week through the school year, with duties beginning as soon as possible and tentatively ending in late May 2027.
