Special Education (SPED) Life Skills Teacher – Full-time – Eugene, OR

Oregon Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active Oregon teaching license with a Special Education endorsement. A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field is required. Experience working with students in life skills or functional academic programs is preferred.

Eugene, OR, is seeking a Life Skills SPED Teacher to provide compassionate, structured instruction that empowers students with disabilities to develop independence, communication, and essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement individualized life skills instruction.

  • Create and monitor IEPs tailored to functional goals.

  • Support students with adaptive behavior and daily routines.

  • Collaborate with families and related service providers.

  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports.
