Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Life Skills Program
Full-Time | K–12 Caseload | September 3, 2025 – June 12, 2026
Are you ready to make a powerful impact in a meaningful role this school year? We’re looking for a passionate, forward-thinking Special Education Teacher to join our Life Skills program for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time position supporting a K–12 caseload of students with varying needs in a Life Skills setting.
Position Highlights:
Start Date: September 3, 2025
End Date: June 12, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Caseload: K–12 students in a Life Skills setting
Setting: Onsite
What You’ll Do:
Design and deliver engaging, individualized instruction to small groups in and out of the classroom
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
Utilize assistive technology and evidence-based practices to support student growth
Monitor progress and adjust strategies to foster academic and functional success
Partner with general education staff and support professionals to promote inclusion
Communicate regularly with families to share progress and support learning at home
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Education (Master’s or higher in Special Education preferred)
Valid Special Education Teaching License for the state
Prior experience working with Life Skills or similar programs is a plus
